Studio Camera Operator
Anthony (AM.) Andrade (he/him/his or they/them) is a visual and performance artist, teaching artist, songwriter, musician, producer, film artist and passionate youth advocate from Providence, RI. A Music Production and Media Instructor at AS220 Youth and AS220 Industries, Anthony also works with incarcerated youth at the Rhode Island Training School, running two art courses centered around spiritual growth through self-expression and breathing/meditation practices. He is a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT-200), and a certified Breathe for Change Wellness Champion. Along with his mission to enhance well-being and bring meditation to the classroom, he co-facilitates MARS Camp with Sara Azriel, an after-school songwriting program at the Trinity Academy for the Performing Arts.
An independent photo/video artist, Anthony also works as a Master Control and Camera Operator at Rhode Island PBS: Public Broadcasting Station. He has released five self-produced and -engineered albums under AM. Media Records. With 5 years of training in Hip-hop and Acro dance, Anthony has a passion for teaching and learning movement and is a founding member of Haus of Glitter Dance Company and an active member of New Works/World Traditions Dance Company at Brown University.
