Anthony “AM.” Andrade, Jr. (he/him/his) is an interdisciplinary teaching artist, songwriter, and producer from Providence, RI. A Music Production and Media Arts Instructor at AS220 Youth + Industries, Andrade also works with incarcerated youth at The Rhode Island Training School, running two art courses centered around spiritual growth through self-expression and breathing and meditation practices. With a Wellness and Yoga Alliance certification through Breathe for Change (CYT-200), his mission is to enhance well-being and bring meditation to the classroom.

An independent photo/video artist, Andrade also works as a Master Control and Camera Operator at Rhode Island PBS: Public Broadcasting Station. He has released five self-produced and -engineered albums under AM. Media Records. With training in Hip-hop, Acro, Butoh, Vogue,  and Afrobeats/West African dance, Anthony has a passion for teaching and learning movement and is a founding member of The Haus of Glitter Dance Company and an active member of New Works/World Traditions Dance Company at Brown University.
